ROME, Ga. – Sabrina Tang of Grinnell College took the national stage Thursday and Friday, competing twice in singles play at the ITA Cup at the Rome Tennis Center.
 
Tang gave a great battle to Emory University's Stephanie Shulman in the first round before losing 6-3, 7-5. Tang came back in the consolation quarterfinals to take on Sarah Yang of Carnegie Mellon University. The two had a thrilling back-and-forth battle before Yang came away with a 6-4, 4-6, 6-2 win.

On Friday, Tang met up with Cassidy Binder of Pacific University. Binder posted a 6-2, 6-3 victory.
 
Tang now makes a quick turnaround, joining teammates to play in the Midwest Conference singles and doubles tournament this weekend.
