Grinnell women's golf team tunes up for league meet with strong showing at St. Kate's Invite

STILLWATER, Minn. - Grinnell College's women's golfers tuned up for the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championships with another strong performance at the St. Kate's Fall Invite Sunday.

 
The 22nd-ranked Pioneers had a day two score of 323 at Eagle Valley to finish with an overall total of 640. They finished only behind the Nos. 18, 19 and 20 teams in the 14-team meet.
 
Parker Perry '24 was Grinnell's top finisher at the meet, firing a 4-over-par 76 Sunday for a two-day total of 155. That was good for an 11th-place tie in the 83-golfer field.
 
Mary Li '25 tied for 13th with a 156 after shooting 78 Sunday and Lauren Chen '24 added a 157 with an 81 on the final day. She finished tied for 15th.
 
Kavya Keshav '26 added a 160, shooting 81 on Sunday and tying for 19th. Aubrie Torhorst '23 contributed an 83 Sunday for a 172.
 
Host St. Catherine University won the meet with a 606 and Carleton College's Carter Sichol was the individual medalist with a 145.
