Grinnell women's swimming and diving team works past Macalester

ST. PAUL, Minn. - Battling a tough Macalester College squad on the road, Grinnell College's women's swimming and diving team worked its way to a 144-129 dual meet victory Saturday.

Individual champs for Grinnell were Sophia Carroll '25 in the 200-yard freestyle (1:58.47), Sarah Lopez '26 in the 200 butterfly (2:13.08), 200 breaststroke (2:38.52) and 200 individual medley (2:17.90), Jane Markovitz '26 in 1-meter diving (154.65) and Camryn Gonzales '25 in the 100 butterfly (1:00.55).

The Pioneers followed those wins up with numerous runner-up finishes.

The Pioneers host the Grinnell Mini-Invite next Saturday.
