GRINNELL, Iowa – For the second time this season, Grinnell College's Sophie Weber '25 has been named the Midwest Conference Volleyball Defensive Performer of the Week.
 
Weber, a defensive specialist from Carmel, Ind. (Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory), averaged 5.67 digs per set as the Pioneers swept Beloit College and Luther College during the week. Weber leads the MWC in digs per set with 4.82 and has 1,373 digs in her career, fourth all-time at Grinnell.
 
The MWC Offensive Performer of the Week is Laura Kaiser of Illinois College.
