Sara Booher named MWC Women's Basketball Performer of the Week

GRINNELL, Iowa - Sara Booher '25, who ranks among the national leaders in several categories, has been named the Midwest Conference Women's Basketball Performer of the Week.

The Grinnell College center, who hails from Menomonee Falls, Wis. (Menomonee Falls), dominated both Pioneer outings during the week. She came up with her third double-double of the season with 19 points, 12 rebounds and two blocks in an overtime loss to Central College and followed with a 15-rebound/six-block effort in a victory at Rockford University. For the week, she averaged 12 points, 13.5 rebounds and four blocks as Grinnell improved to 3-1, its best start to a season in nine years. 

Booher ranks second in NCAA Division III for blocked shots with 14 and is third in both rebounds with 52 and double-doubles with three. In the Central game, she surpassed the 500-rebound milestone for her career.
