Grinnell women's tennis team seeks another trip to NCAA D-III Tourney

MADISON, Wis. - Grinnell College's women's tennis team will pursue its fourth consecutive trip to the NCAA Division III Tournament this weekend when it competes in the Midwest Conference Team Tournament.

Grinnell, which has made 12 trips to the NCAA Tourney overall, are the top seed for Saturday's event and will meet fourth-seeded Illinois College at 10 a.m. in Hitters Sportsplex. The other semifinal pits Lake Forest College and Cornell College. The winners play Saturday afternoon for a trip to the NCAA Tourney.

Grinnell is 20-4 on the season and again ranked 23rd nationally, its highest ranking in program history.
