SANDESTIN, Fla. – The Grinnell College women's golf team just keeps getting better and better as it works its way through the 2025 fall portion of its season.

Grinnell fired a season-best 295 Monday at the Golfweek October Classic, a score that ranks seventh in program history. It is the best score for a GC team since last April.

The Pioneers are third in the 24-team field at 595 following two days of action, just one shot behind co-leaders Hamilton College and Williams College.

Emily Lackershire '27 fired an even-par 72 Monday at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort, while teammates
Kavya Keshav '26 and
Vidushi Keni '26 came in at 73. Keni posted four birdies on the day, while Lackershire and Keshav tallied three apiece.

Keshav is tied for fifth in the 120-golfer field at 146, while Lackershire is tied for 16
th at 150.
Waverly Yang '28 fired a 77 Monday and has a 152, the same score as Keni. They are tied for 20
th. Yang had three birdies on the day.

Amy Nguyen '26 had three birdies, as well, on her way to an 82. Her two-day score is 156.

Natalie Catapano of Sewanee is the individual leader at 1-under-par 143.
