Millie Leonard claims MWC volleyball accolades for 2nd time this season

GRINNELL, Iowa – For the second time this month, Grinnell College's Millie Leonard '27 has been named the Midwest Conference Volleyball Offensive Performer of the Week.
 
Leonard, from Colorado Springs, Colo. (Coronado), was absolutely dominant at the net during the week, posting an incredible .494 attack percentage and averaging 3.62 kills per set as Grinnell won two of three matches. She hit .714 in a three-set sweep of Ripon College, the sixth-best efficiency in program history and the best at the school since 2022. She had 10 kills with no errors in 14 swings. Earlier in the week, Leonard posted a career-high 22 kills with only two errors and a .606 efficiency in a five-set marathon win over Coe College. That was the Pioneers' first home victory over the Kohawks in nearly 30 years. Leonard leads the MWC in overall hitting percentage at .343 and is also tops in kills per set in league play at 3.56.
