UNION, Mo. – Grinnell College's women's golf team will look to make it seven St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) titles in a row when it competes in the league meet beginning Sunday.
 
The three-day event will be contested at Birch Creek Golf Course in Union, Mo. Action Sunday and Monday begins at 10 a.m., while Tuesday's round starts at 9.
 
The winner of the event earns the league's automatic berth to next spring's NCAA Division III Tournament.
 
Grinnell has golfed just one meet this season, finishing third of 21 teams at the Wartburg Fall Invitational. Grinnell had a two-day score of 621 and was led by Emily Lackershire '27, who was fourth individually with a 3-over-par 147.
 
Vidushi Keni '26 was next in line for Grinnell, taking ninth with a 151, while Kavya Keshav '26 and Amy Nguyen '26 added 155s and Waverly Yang '28 a 157. Following them were Meilin Hoshino '27 (161), Saya Geisendorfer '27 (170) and Sara Meneses '26 (180).
 
Hoshino is a two-time SLIAC individual champ and Keshav has won the title once.
