Millie Leonard named MWC Volleyball Offensive Performer of the Week

GRINNELL, Iowa - Grinnell College's Millie Leonard '27 has been selected the Midwest Conference Volleyball Offensive Performer of the Week.

Leonard, a 5-10 hitter from Colorado Springs, Colo. (Coronado), dominated at the net by pounding down 29 kills with just one error as the Pioneers won both league road matches over the weekend. She posted a .537 hitting efficiency with 4.14 kills per set as Grinnell swept Lake Forest College, the Pioneers' first victory on the Foresters' floor since 2002, and earned a four-set win at Lawrence University. Grinnell remained unbeaten in MWC play at 3-0.

The MWC Defensive Performer of the Week was Selia Stein of Cornell College.
