Hannah Roark to wrap up stellar season at NCAA D-III Cross Country Championships

Meet Information

SPARTANSBURG, S.C. - Grinnell College's Hannah Roark '26 will wrap up a stellar cross country season with a performance on the big stage Saturday morning.

Roark will represent the Pioneers at the NCAA Division III Championships at Roger Milliken Cross Country course in Spartansburg, S.C. The women's 6-kilometer race is slated for 11 a.m. Eastern time and will be preceded by the men's 8-kilometer event.

Roark advanced out of last Saturday's NCAA D-III Midwest Regional Championships where she earned All-Region honors by placing 18th.

She has been a consistent performer the entire fall, beginning with a season-opening victory at the Central Dutch Invite. After that, in four meets prior to regionals, she garnered finishes of seventh, second, sixth and third.

Earlier this month, Roark gained All-Midwest Conference honors for the fourth time in her career while leading the Pioneers to the league team title. Her time of 21 minutes, 37 seconds at the meet ranks second in program history and is just 9 seconds off the school record.
