GRINNELL, Iowa – Grinnell College, which advanced to the Midwest Conference Tournament a season ago, is expected to again be a contender in the league race.
 
The Pioneers received 39 voting points in balloting of league coaches to tie for fourth with Illinois College. Ripon College was picked to win with 62 points and seven first-place votes, while Cornell College and Lawrence University each had one top vote while tallying 53 and 52 points, respectively.
