GRINNELL, Iowa – Grinnell College's Jakob Runkel '26 has been named the Midwest Conference Baseball Pitcher of the Week.
 
Runkel, from Ambler, Pa. (Chestnut Hill Academy), tossed five innings of scoreless ball as the Pioneers toppled Illinois Wesleyan University 12-4 on Sunday. He scattered five hits and struck out two in earning the victory.
 
The MWC Position Player of the Week is Nolan Decker of Illinois College.
