D3baseball.com All-Region 9 Team
GRINNELL, Iowa – For the first time in four years, Grinnell College has placed two players on the D3baseball.com All-Region 9 Team.

Both
Ethan Crawford '25 and
Mac McCain '25 were third-team selections, Crawford at the catcher spot and McCain at second base. McCain is a two-time D3baseball.com All-Region selection, having also earned third-team honors in 2022.

Both McCain and Crawford were first-team All-Midwest Conference selections, as well.

McCain established numerous school records this season, including games played (42), at-bats (179), hits (64) and RBIs (61). He had 108 total bases, which ranks third in program history, and his 43 runs and four sacrifice flies rank fourth. On the career list, McCain holds school records for games played with 152, at-bats with 616, runs with 135, hits with 227 and sacrifice flies with 17.

Crawford belted 12 homers and had 109 total bases in 2025, both second all-time at Grinnell. He also established a school record by being hit by 18 pitches and posted the sixth-most RBIs in program history with 47. On the career chart, Crawford is first in hit by pitch (35), second in home runs (29) and third in fielding chances and putouts (778 and 700, respectively).

The All-Region individual awards went to St. John's Joe Becker (Player of the Year), University of Wisconsin-Whitewater's Max Huseboe (Pitcher of the Year), Bethany Lutheran's Xander Meissner (Rookie of the Year) and Gustavus Adolphus' Brad Baker (Coach of the Year).
