Juniper Schwartzman named MWC Women's Basketball Performer of the Week

GRINNELL, Iowa - Following an impressive effort in a victory over Nebraska Wesleyan University, Grinnell College's Juniper Schwartzman '27 has been named the Midwest Conference Women's Basketball Performer of the Week.

Schwartzman was a monster on the boards, grabbing a career-high 19 rebounds in the Pioneers' 58-40 victory. The rebound total ranks eighth in program history and is tops in the league this season. Schwartzman also had five points and an assist as Grinnell posted its largest margin of victory ever in the Prairie Wolves' gym.

The MWC Men's Performer of the Week is Alex Forowycz of Lake Forest College.
