GRINNELL, Iowa – Already named to the D3baseball.com Team of the Week recently, Grinnell College's Nikolas Ruden '26 has been named the Midwest Conference Position Player of the Week.
 
Ruden, a second baseman from San Francisco, Calif. (International High), had a huge opening weekend in the Pioneers' games against Augustana College and Central College. He hit .667 with four hits in six at bats, including two doubles and a homer. He posted a 1.500 slugging percentage and was perfect in the field with three putouts and two assists in five chances.
 
The MWC Pitcher of the Week is Connor Akstulewicz of Illinois College.
