GC leader board sees shakeup in 5000-meter run at Kip Janvrin Open

INDIANOLA, Iowa - The Grinnell College women's track and field leader board saw a shakeup at Friday's Kip Janvrin Open hosted by Simpson College.


Morgan Karow '27 took 10th in the 5000-meter run among a field of runners from all levels of the NCAA as well as NAIA, running 17 minutes, 26.63 seconds. That time ranks third in GC history. Also in that race, Talia Harrison '26 ran 18:10.89 which ranks ninth in program history.

Hannah Roark '26 was 20th in the 1500 in 4:45.16 and Julia Toro '29 was 24th in the 3000 steeplechase with a time of 12:10.22. In the 800, Tennyson Shultz '28 took 29th in 2:21.30.
