Box Score GRINNELL, Iowa –  The Grinnell College men's soccer team dropped a 2-0 decision to Simpson College Wednesday at Springer Field.

Simpson, unbeaten at 3-0 and yet to surrender a goal this season, got a score in the 11th minute by Tyler Neumann for a 1-0 halftime lead. The Storm added another goal in the 58th minute by Jeremy Reinert.

Simpson won the shots battle 18-6. Getting two shots apiece for the Pioneers were Reed Caron '13, Omeed Kashef '14 and Joseph Brown '15.

Grinnell keeper Isaiah Tyree recorded three saves in the contest.

The Pioneers, 1-1-1 on the season, play their first road game on Sunday with a contest at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville.
