“I was pleased with the overall performance today, especially given the fact we were able to play 12 players throughout the two matches,” said Grinnell coach Andy Hamilton. “While our opponents were steady and competed very well against us, I was pleased our players had good game plans and executed them to gain victories.”

Grinnell will play as a split squad next Saturday. One team will host matches against St. Norbert College and Hastings College at 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., respectively. Another Pioneer team will play in Saint Peter Minn. against Gustavus Adolphus College at 9 a.m. and Macalester College at 1:30 p.m.

“Next weekend it's back to playing matches at two different locations,” Hamilton said. “We look forward to the challenge of putting a lot of players on the court and finding some success.”
