Box Score LAKE FOREST, Ill. – The Grinnell College men's soccer team battled Lake Forest College to a 1-1 double-overtime tie Saturday in Midwest Conference action.
 
The contest was scoreless at halftime. Lake Forest got a goal in the 57th minute before the Pioneers countered with a goal in the 70th minute by Joseph Brown '15, his team-high sixth of the season. The assist went to Antonio Dimarco '18.
 
Artis Curiskis '18 had three of Grinnell's six shots. The others were by Brown, Michael Hurley '16 and Joe Saenz '16.
 
Isaiah Tyree '15 recorded seven saves at the keeper spot for Grinnell.
 
The Pioneers are 4-3-3 overall and 0-2-1 in the league, while Lake Forest moved to 2-6-2 in all games and 1-0-2 in the MWC.
 
Grinnell plays at Carroll University Sunday, starting at 11 a.m.
