On Brule's goal, Dimarco crossed the ball from the near side of the field to the far side. Brule took one touch and fired a shot just inside the box. The ball deflected off the keeper and went in.
Brown's goal came when Brule received a pass just inside the box on the far side. He faked a pass back out and made a hard turn, took a few dribbles inside the box and crossed it to the near side, where Brown fired it in from 5 yards out into the right side of the goal.
Brown scored again in the 60th minute on an assist by Curiskis. On the play, the Pioneers possessed just outside the center of the box. Curiskis dribbled in and crossed to Brown, who tapped it into the goal.
A bit over a minute later, Hurley scored on Brown's assist. Brown broke down the defense in the box on the far side and left a pass for Hurley about 15 yards out. Hurley then powered it into the goal for the score.
Grinnell completed the scoring in the 78th minute when Dimarco scored on Curiskis' third assist of the game. The Pioneers had some great ball movement in the box and Curiskis, from right outside the end line in the right side of the box, left a pass for a streaking Dimarco, who tapped it in.
