Box Score NAPERVILLE, Ill. – The Grinnell College men's soccer team advanced to the championship game of the Sal Vaccaro Tournament by blanking Webster University 2-0 Saturday afternoon.
The game was scoreless at halftime before
Nicholas Brule '17 scored in the 50th minute on an assist by
Joseph Brown '15. It was the second goal of the year for Brule, and second assist by Brown.
Artis Curiskis '18, who earlier this week tied a program record for assists in a game with three, helped secure the win with a goal in the 87th minute. It was his first of the year.
Brule had four of Grinnell's six shots, while Curiskis and
Michael Hurley '16 tallied one each.

Major May '17 had a flawless outing and recorded one save.
Grinnell is now 2-1-2, while Webster fell to 2-4. The Pioneers meet Penn State-Behrend in the title contest Sunday.
