Grinnell men nearly knock off St. Norbert

DE PERE, Wis. – The Grinnell College men's soccer team played toe-to-toe with St. Norbert College, but a 2-1 decision in overtime to St. Norbert College on Sunday.

The Pioneers kicked off the scoring in the 12th minute when Nicholas Brule scored on an assist from Artis Curiskis after cleaning up off the rebound.

But the Green Knights added a goal in the 67th minute to tie the contest and another in the 94th minute to eke out the win.

Grinnell managed eight shots, with Michael Hurley and Nicholas Brule firing off three of those each.
