GRINNELL, Iowa - Grinnell College's John Lennon '19, from Riverside, Ill. (Saint Ignatius College Preparatory), has been named the Midwest Conference Men's Cross Country Performer of the Week.

Lennon placed seventh in a tough field of 180 runners to lead the Pioneers to a runner-up finish at their own Les Duke Invitational Saturday. He had a clocking of 26:55 over the 8-kilometer course. The Women's Performer of the Week is St. Norbert College's Gretchen Price.
