Kuhn named MWC Volleyball Offensive Performer of the Week

GRINNELL, Iowa – In a time where Grinnell College's volleyball team reached unprecedented heights, the Pioneers' Kaylin Kuhn '21 has been honored as the Midwest Conference Offensive Performer of the Week.

Kuhn, an outside hitter from Bettendorf, Iowa (Bettendorf), continued her impressive play by leading the Pioneers to a 3-0 record during the week. That included a five-set victory over Cornell College that snapped the Rams' 44-match MWC winning streak dating back to 2015.

Kuhn, who helped the Pioneers also defeat Buena Vista University in four sets and Central College in three, had 52 kills in 12 sets for a 4.33 per average. She added 38 digs, 12 aces and five blocks in that span. She ranks second in the nation in kills per set with 4.76 as the Pioneers completed the regular season with a 24-4 mark to break the school record for wins in a season and finish with an unblemished 15-0 record at home.

The MWC Defensive Performer of the Week was Sydney Meeker of Cornell College.
