Bresnahan, Lukoseviciute claim USTFCCCA All-Academic honors

GRINNELL, Iowa - Grinnell College's Cara Bresnahan '19 and Agne Lukoseviciute '21 were stellar both in the competition arena and off it, and have been rewarded for their efforts.

The Grinnell duo claimed All-Academic honors from the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (UWTFCCCA). To earn the honor, an athlete must have competed in an NCAA Division III national championship or finished the regular season ranked in the top 50 nationally in an individual event and have a GPA of 3.30 or higher.

Lukoseviciute qualified for the NCAA D-III National Outdoor Championships, becoming just the third Pioneer woman to earn All-America honors twice in the same meet by placing third in the discus and fifth in the hammer. Bresnahan finished the season ranks 35th in the javelin. Lukoseviciute is a computer science major, while Bresnahan majored in computer science and sociology.
