Bradley Ramsey '24 and
Matt Lieberman '22 led the Grinnell College men's cross country pack at the 59
th running of the Les Duke Invitational Saturday morning.

Ramsey finished the 8-kilometer Grinnell College Golf course loop in 27 minutes, 34.7 seconds and Lieberman was right behind in 27:36.7. They were 26
th and 27
th, respectively, in the 148-runner field.

The Pioneers' remaining scorers were close behind.
Spencer Skidmore '24 took 30
th in 28:10.7,
Brian Goodell '24 placed 33
rd in 28:13.9 and
Andrew Nickeson '23 wound up 34
th in 28:27.9

Others in Grinnell's top seven were
Kody Harrison '22 (37

Grinnell, running its lone home meet of the season, was fifth in the team standings with 150 points. Wartburg College, the top-ranked team in the nation, won with 16 points and had the individual champ in Christopher Collet, who ran 25:31.4.

Grinnell is off until Sept. 24 when it competes in the Roy Griak Invitational in Minneapolis.
