GRINNNELL, Iowa - Grinnell College's Athena Frasca '23 has been named the Midwest Conference Women's Track Performer of the Week.

Frasca, from Harrodsburg, Ky. (Sayre School), ran two times that rank first in the MWC at Friday's Grinnell Opener. She had a clocking of 27.48 seconds in the 200-meter dash, which is sixth in program history, and was on the first-place 4x200 relay team that finished in 1:53.35.

The MWC Field Performer of the Week is Ripon College's Arynn Mathieu.
