GRINNELL, Iowa – Following an impressive performance at Saturday's Les Duke Invitational, Grinnell College's
Keely Miyamoto '26 has been named Midwest Conference Women's Cross Country Performer of the Week.
Miyamoto, from Los Angeles, Calif. (Eagle Rock), made the most of the home course, placing third of 93 runners. Miyamoto's clocking of 23 minutes, 36.2 seconds ranks 29
th in program history.
That effort helped Grinnell to a fourth-place finish in the team standings, placing behind two regionally-ranked squads and an NCAA Division II school while beating another team ranked in the region.
The MWC Men's Performer of the Week is Aaron Davidson of Cornell College.
