METAMORA, Ill. - For the fifth season in a row, Grinnell College swept individual awards at the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) Championship Tuesday.

Meilin Hoshino '27 was named Player and Newcomer of the Year after claiming individual honors with a school- and SLIAC-record score of 212. Hoshino, who won by eight strokes, also set a school record Monday with an 18-hole round of 6-under-par 66.

Cole Cody was named SLIAC Coach of the Year in his first season while guiding the team to a school- and SLIAC-record score of 907. That allowed Grinnell to win its fifth SLIAC title in a row and 11th consecutive league championship, with the first six of those as part of the Midwest Conference.
