Women's Cross Country Ted Schultz

Grinnell women's cross country team has successful voyage at Augustana Interregional

ROCK ISLAND, Ill. – A pair of Grinnell College cross country runners improved their standing on the all-time leader board with strong performances at the Augustana Interregional meet Saturday at Saukie Golf Course.
 
Keely Miyamoto '26 remained 11th all-time at Grinnell, but improved by a second with a clocking of 22 minutes, 48.3 seconds over the 6-kilometer event. That was good for 37th in the loaded 395-runner field.
 
Morgan Karow '26 moved to 25th all-time at Grinnell with a time of 23:28.3, good for 69th in the race. Rounding out Grinnell's scorers were Hannah Roark '26 (135th in 24:17.4), Crystal Kaczmarczyk '25 (156th in 24:42.5) and Grace Charron '26 (181st in 25:07.5).
 
Also for Grinnell, Talia Harrison '26 was 182nd in 25:07.8 and Kylie Klassen '26 placed 186th in 25:12.7.
 
Grinnell was 20th of 42 squads in the team standings with 578 points. University of Chicago won the meet with 48 points and had the individual champ in Evelyn Battleson-Gunkel, who ran 21:24.7.
 
The Pioneers host the Midwest Conference Championships in two weekends.
