Half-dozen men receive awards at Grinnell's annual Honor G Ceremony

GRINNELL, Iowa - Six Grinnell College men's senior student-athletes were recognized Saturday afternoon during the annual Honor G Ceremony at Herrick Chapel.
 
Senior Athlete of the Year Awards went to Luke Porter '23 (baseball/football), Noah Guyton '23 (soccer), Ben Johnson '23 (swimming) and Andrew Nickeson '23 (cross country/track and field). The Athlete of the Year Awards are selected by Grinnell's head coaches and sports information director.

The Honor G Scholastic Award, which goes to the athlete who achieved the highest cumulative grade point average, participated in his sport every year on campus and lettered at least once, went to Quinn Kopelman '23 (swimming).

The Service Award, given to the athlete to receive the most letters over the course of his college career, was presented to Nickeson. He won 12 letters during her time at Grinnell.

Brady Vest '23 (basketball) earned the Coaches Award.
