GRINNELL, Iowa - Five Grinnell College women's cross country/track and field student-athletes have been named to the 2023 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District® Team.

Those student-athletes include Sara Booher '25, Mira Diamond-Berman '25, Melanie Oden '25, Emma Schaefer '23 and Sadie Staker '24.

The squad, selected by College Sports Communicators including Grinnell Sports Information Director Ted Schultz, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances at the competition venue and in the classroom. Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in June.
