Grinnell men's cross country team places 3 on All-MWC squad

Pioneers are 3rd in team standings

APPLETON, Wis. – A trio of Grinnell College men's cross country runners collected All-Midwest Conference honors as the Pioneers enjoyed a big day at the league meet Saturday.
 
Luke Robinson '26 was Grinnell's top runner, placing fourth in 25 minutes, 26.93 seconds on the Reid Municipal Golf Course 8-kilometer route. His time, a PR, ranks 21st in program history.
 
Connor Heagy '26, who like Robinson is a three-time All-MWC performer, was eighth in 25:46.87. That time ranks 32nd in program history.
 
Sam Beck '27 was right behind Heagy in ninth place with a time of 25:53.19, which is 36th in Grinnell history. First-years Jason Newman '28 and Greyson Imm '28 rounded out the Pioneers' scorers, taking 23rd in 26:45.09 and 26:53.64, respectively.
 
Also for Grinnell, Sebastian Manza '27 was 28th in 27:02.38 and David In '28 ran 27:12.63 to place 33rd.
 
Grinnell finished third in the team standings with 69 points. Cornell College won with 43 and had the individual champ in Isaac vanWestrienen, who ran 24:15.81.
