DECORAH, Iowa – James Snyder '26 and Cameron Welch-Groves '26 led the Grinnell College men's charge at the Saga Cup cross country meet Friday afternoon.
 
Snyder finished the 8-kilometer race in 27 minutes, 27.8 seconds. He placed 50^th and was followed by Welch-Groves '26, who 57^th in 27:42.4.
 
Rounding out the scorers were Ryan Hill '27 (64^th in 28:01.0), Aidan Michaelson '28 (67^th in 28:14.4) and Andy Chestovich '26 (78^th in 28:52.4). Also for Grinnell, Jackson Massey '28 was 79^th in 28:53.8 and Justin Lee '28 placed 90^th in 29:19.2.
 
Grinnell was fifth in the team standings with 153 points. Wartburg College won with 15 and had the individual champ in Michael Goodenbour, who ran 25:14.5.
