Chu established personal best for Grinnell men's track and field team

GRINNELL, Iowa - Travis Chu '24 established a personal best in the shot put as the Grinnell College men's track and field team competed in a pair of late-week meets.

Chu threw the shot 11.17 meters at the Central College Dutch Invitational. Ian Clawson '26 also competed in the shot and had a toss of 11.20 meters. Clawson added performances of 48.88 in the hammer and 38.02 in the discus, while Chu threw 26.38 in the discus.

Grinnell also had two runners compete at the Washington University Distance Carnival. Brian Goodell '24 ran the 3000-meter steeplechase in 9 minutes, 17.74 seconds and Bradley Ramsey '24 went 15:50.90 in the 5000.
