D3baseball.com Team of the Week

GRINNELL, Iowa – Earlier this week, Grinnell College's Mac McCain '25 was named the Midwest Conference Baseball Position Player of the Week.
 
Now, he's being honored on the national stage.
 
McCain, a second baseman from Woodinville, Wash. (Woodinville), has been named to the D3baseball.com Team of the Week after an amazing five-game stretch. He hit .700 by going 14-of-20 with 16 RBIs, five homers and eight runs scored while boasting a 1.450 slugging percentage and .682 on-base percentage.
 
McCain shattered multiple school records in that span and is now the Pioneers' career leader for at-bats with 555, runs scored with 128 and hits with 207. He is second in doubles with 45 and sixth in homers with 19.
