Lucas Fadden punches ticket to NCAA D-III Outdoor National Championships in 100, 200

Meet slated for late next week

GENEVA, Ohio - Grinnell College men's track and field star Lucas Fadden '26 enjoyed a spectacular performance at last year's national meet.

The Pioneer junior sprinter has doubled his chances of more success this year, qualifying for next week's NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships in both the 100 and 200.

He is seeded 11th in the 200 with a time of 21.10 seconds and 12th in the 100 with a time of 10.42.

The 200 prelims at the SPIRE Institute are slated for 5:40 p.m. Central time Thursday, May 22. The 100 prelims are the following day at 2:30 p.m. Finals are slated for Saturday, the 100 at 1:30 and 200 at 2:40.

Fadden, Grinnell's record holder in both events, placed eighth in the 100 at last year's nationals in a time of 10.65.
