GRINNELL, Iowa – Grinnell College's
Lucas Fadden '26, who will compete in both the 100- and 200-meter dashes at the NCAA Division III Championships over the next three days, has been named All-Region in both events.
It's the second year in a row Fadden has been recognized in the 100, and the first time in the outdoor 200. He was also All-Region in the indoor 60 and 200 last year.
The All-Region honors are presented by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
Eva Carchidi, who graduated from Grinnell last year and now attends and competes for Emory University, was named All-Region in the 200, 400, 4x100 and 4x400 relays. Like Fadden, she will also compete at nationals.
Fadden will run the 200 prelims at 5:40 p.m. Central time today, and the 100 prelims are set for 2:30 p.m. Central time Friday. The finals for each are on Saturday.
