GRINNELL, Iowa - Five Grinnell College men's athletes have been named to the 2024-25 College Sports Communicators Academic Men's Track and Field/Cross Country All-District® Team.

Honorees include Xavier James '25, Ian Clawson '26, Jack Novelle '26, Jake Bell '27 and Ilem Leisher '27.

James and Clawson are two-time honorees, while the others are on the squad for the first time.

The squad, selected by College Sports Communicators including Grinnell Sports Information Director Ted Schultz, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances at the competition venue and in the classroom. Academic All-District® performers are eligible to be considered for Academic All-America® recognition.
