EDINBURGH, Ind. – Grinnell College wrapped up the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) Men's Golf Championships Tuesday with a round of 322.
 
Roger Smith '28 was the Pioneers' top finisher Tuesday with a round of 2-over-par 74, giving him an overall total of 224. That was good for an 18^th-place tie in the 63-golfer field. He posted three birdies on the day.
 
John Robinson '25 and Kevin Carpenter '25 each had 81s Tuesday, Eshaan Sethi '25 fired an 86 and Thornton Walker '25 recorded a 91. Robinson had two birdies and Carpenter and Walker added one apiece.
 
Robinson posted an overall score of 236, Sethi finished at 244 and Carpenter and Walker each shot 247s.
 
As a team, Grinnell finished with a three-day total of 941, the sixth-best total in program history. The Pioneers were eighth in the 13-team event.
 
Mississippi University for Women won the crown with an 853 and had the individual champion in Matt Wilkinson, who shot a three-day score of 210.
