Academic All-District Team

GRINNELL, Iowa - Grinnell College men's golfers Kevin Carpenter '25 and Thornton Walker '25 have been named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District®  At-Large Team for the 2024-25 season.

Walker is a three-time honoree, while Carpenter has made the team twice. The At-Large Team includes student-athletes involved in golf, fencing, gymnastics, ice hockey, lacrosse, rifle, skiing, water polo, wrestling, beach volleyball, bowling, crew/rowing and field hockey.

The squad, selected by College Sports Communicators including Grinnell Sports Information Director Ted Schultz, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances at the competition venue and in the classroom. Academic All-District® performers are eligible to be considered for Academic All-America® recognition.
