GRINNELL, Iowa – Grinnell College's men's cross country team is picked to edge Lawrence University atop the Midwest Conference in 2025 in voting of the league's coaches.
 
The Pioneers received three first-place votes and 64 voting points, while Lawrence had four top votes and 60 points. Cornell College, with two first-place votes, was picked third with 52 points.
 
Rounding out the top five are Ripon College with 43 points and Knox College with 37 points.
 
Grinnell, with 37 league titles dating back to 1955, last won the MWC crown in 2023.
