GRINNELL, Iowa – With several key runners returning, the Grinnell College women's cross country team is a strong favorite to reclaim the Midwest Conference title in 2025.
 
The Pioneers received six of nine first-place votes and tallied 69 voting points in polling of league coaches. Lawrence University, with two first-place votes, edged Ripon College 53-52 for second place. The Red Hawks received the other first-place tally.
 
Rounding out the top five are Cornell College with 45 points and Lake Forest College with 30.
 
Grinnell, with 21 league titles, last won the MWC crown in 2023.
