Grinnell senior stars shine at Wartburg meet

Results

WAVERLY, Iowa - Grinnell College senior track and field stars Ian Clawson '26 and Luke Robinson '26 came up with huge performances at the loaded Wartburg Indoor Select Meet this weekend.

Clawson had a performance of 17.45 meters in the weight throw, which ranks 30th nationally. That was good for fourth place.

In the mile, Robinson missed his own school record by just .04 of a second while posting a time of 4 minutes, 17.75 seconds. In the 800, Andy Chestovich '26 ran 2:00.19 to finish 11th.
