BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - As he tunes up for a much-anticipated performance at the 2026 NCAA Division III National Indoor Track and Field Championships, Grinnell College sprinter
Lucas Fadden '26 has been named All-Region in a pair of events.
Fadden was named All-Midwest Region in the 60- and 200-meter dashes by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
All-Region honors are given to the top eight individuals and relays in each of the nation's 10 regions.
This marked the third and fourth indoor All-Region honors Fadden has collected, having done so in the 60 and 200 in 2024, as well. Fadden is a seven-time All-Region selection in his career, earning the honor outdoors in the 100 in 2024 and 100 and 200 last season.
Fadden will compete in both the 60 and 200 at the NCAA Championships this weekend at the Birmingham CrossPlex. He will run in the second of three preliminary heats in the 60 at 2:15 p.m. Friday and then will compete in the 200 prelims at 4:30 p.m., running out of the fourth of five heats.
Finals are set for Saturday, with the 60 slated for 11:10 a.m. and 200 for 5:25 p.m.
Fadden is already a three-time All-American, having done so in the outdoor 100 and 200 last spring and 100 in the 2024 outdoor meet.
