Grinnell College's Nikki Schlegel '22 has been named the Midwest Conference Women's Swimming and Diving Performer of the Week.
 
Schlegel, from Longmont, Colo. (Silver Creek), was a triple winner while leading the Pioneers to the team title at the Monmouth College Invite Saturday. She took first in the 100-yard backstroke in 1:03.95 and as part of the 200 medley and 400 freestyle relay teams that finished in 1:56.73 and 3:49.47, respectively.
 
Additionally, Schlegel finished a close second in the 200 freestyle with a time of 2:02.98.
