After putting on an impressive hitting display at the Rochester Dome Invitational, Grinnell College's Samantha Chu '24 has been named Midwest Conference Softball Position Player of the Week.

The third baseman from Redwood City, Calif. (Carlmont), hit .636 over four contests. She was 7-of-11 at the plate with three doubles, four RBIs and a .909 slugging percentage.

Additionally, Chu was successful in her lone stolen base attempt and had a fielding percentage of .905.
