Grinnell College's Leo Esztergomi '24 has been named the first Midwest Conference Men's Tennis Performer of the Week of the 2023 campaign today.

Esztergomi, from Bethesda, Md. (Walt Whitman), and doubles partner Deuce Daniels '26 stormed to an 8-4 victory at the No. 1 doubles spot against nationally-ranked Iowa Central Community College Saturday. Esztergomi also played a competitive match at the top singles spot, losing 6-4, 6-4. Iowa Central is ranked 11th in the nation among all JUCOs.
