Grinnell College Athletics

Following an impressive weekend performance, Grinnell College’s Sonia Edassery ’24 has been named the Midwest Conference Women’s Track Performer of the Week.
 
Edassery, from Park Ridge, Ill. (Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy), outdid 25 other competitors to win the 200-meter dash at Saturday’s D3 Challenge in Seguin, Texas. Edassery’s time of 26.14 ranks fourth in program history. Additionally, Edassery placed third in the 400 in 1:00.64, just missing Grinnell’s all-time leader board. She leads the MWC in both events.
